La Fee Verte

Hello ladies,

Possessed again by the spirit of whimsy, I decided to invoke the green fairy from the absinthe glass to play upon my fingertips. Perhaps the rhinestones are like sugar crystals.

Envy from Hard Candy forms a dark green background. La fee verte was stamped in apple green princess polish from Konad image plate M35. The Art Club striper in Limeaid created the glow at the tips.

Hard Candy Envy is a vampy green with emerald shimmer. In most lights, it looks like a creme formula, but the shimmer is enlivened by sunlight. In low light, it reminds me of a darker version of Rescue Beauty Lounge Recycle. It took two coats for opacity and was easy to apply.

The apple green princess polish didn't stamp as brightly as I had expected, but the sun defined the silhouette of the fairy. The manicure's subtlety is highlighted by the peridot rhinestones and the glitter tips. Fairies are elusive, no?

Happy painting, ladies!
