Pearls and metalwork

Hello ladies,

Today I am wearing Nubar Silver Sword. This grey shimmer is enlivened by tiny reflective green and silver particles. I simply adore this polish! I feel like my nails have been painted with grey pearls. Depending on the light, I am also reminded of pewter. There is a wonderful shine like liquid metal before casting.

When I first saw Konad plate M75, my eyes passed over it to the more detailed designs of the other new releases. After working with the flower trio image, I discovered the charm of this plate. The images have a bolder graphic design feel. There is a modern approach to the view of the natural world. After stamping with white special polish, I loved how these flowers appeared simultaneously bold and pretty. I added white pearls and diaphanous crystals. My nails seem like jewelry.

The sweet faery is attracted to the magic of Silver Sword.

Silver Sword was almost completely opaque in coat. I didn't use Nubar Diamont topcoat with this polish. On the next occasion I have to wear Silver Sword, I will be sealing it with Diamont. I've found that Nubar polishes in general perform best with their trademark topcoat. I noticed a few small pits on the surface after my topcoat dried. I have never had that issue when wearing Diamont with my Nubar polishes. I did my manicure late at night and I sleepily neglected to line up my Nubar treatments.

Silver Sword was sent to me for review. This shade along with the rest of the Nubar Fortress Collection is available at bynubar.com.

Konad plate M75 was provided for my consideration. Konad products are available for purchase at ocnailart.com. For a chance to win all eight image plates in the new design series, please visit the contest post.

Happy painting, ladies!
