Thievery at its worst (updated)

*We had a discussion over e-mail and she is going to approach etsy about changing the name and url. We will work together with etsy if need be to make this happen. Everything was handled amicably and respectfully.

I did request on November 29 for the content of the shop to be pulled until the name change was implemented. I feel this is most appropriate course of action to immediately end any unintended association with the new etsy shop and my established blog.

I'm editing on December 2 that all of the items from the shop have just been pulled as requested. *

Hello ladies,

The name painted Lady fingers is now being used for another blogger's etsy shop. Take a look. I never thought this sort of thing would happen, especially from another member of the blogging community.

I was informed by a concerned reader via e-mail, that etsy users can report this shop. In the bottom of the sidebar, the last item under actions, will allow you to report the shop to etsy.

Before I created this blog, the name painted Lady fingers was not in common usage. It's associated with my intellectual property. If I were to choose to do any branding, the name painted Lady fingers would be a clear choice for a future venture of my own making.

I don't appreciate my blog name being re-appropriated to profit another blogger. I will also mention I never was contacted and never approved the use of the name painted Lady fingers outside of my site. Since etsy is known to uphold intellectual property rights, I will certainly be contacting them.

For this to even be an issue, I am speechless.

What do you all think of this?
