Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion and garden tulips

Hello ladies,

I have been using Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion over the past few weeks. My dry, sensitive skin requires daily moisturizing with quality, emollient ingredients to remain smooth and supple. What impressed me the most about this shielding lotion is it's ability to help improve minor skin conditions as well as moisturize.

Several years ago, I had a strong allergic reaction to Lush products. I was so excited when Lush opened a Philadelphia location that I purchased shampoo, conditioner, various soaps, bath bombs and massage bars. I ended up with weeping eczema on my legs and hands. It took many months for the skin on my calves to heal. I was left with a small oval of redness that would not respond to any treatment. There was only discoloration and no dry skin texture. I assumed this was scarring from the eczema.

I used Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion and my skin showed visible signs of healing in three days. After a few weeks of use, the discoloration has faded so much that it is barely noticeable. I showed a friend of mine and she was so impressed she is looking into purchasing Skin MD Shielding Lotion for her husband, who suffers from occasional outbreaks of eczema. I am very grateful for this product.

Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion also helped heal dry skin on my upper arms. When I was a teenager, I had an issue with Keratosis Pilaris, a skin condition that causes tiny bumps on the upper arms. I still have a slight appearance of this condition. I noticed the shielding lotion helped soften the skin and seemed to minimize Keratosis Pilaris. I really wish Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion had been available when I was a teenager. I will definitely recommend it to my sisters for their teenage girls.

I didn't find the shielding lotion moisturizing enough as a nighttime facial treatment. I did use the SPF 15 formula for a protective daytime lotion and was pleased with the results. Normal, combination or oily skins may have better results for evening use. I need a thicker creme for overnight.

Similarly, I prefer a body butter for treating dry patches. As much as I loved the shielding lotion for help with skin conditions, it doesn't seem to heal a dry patch as quickly as a thicker formulated cream. That said, I would love it if Skin MD produced a cream formula to add to their skin shielding product line.

Skin MD sent their shielding lotion for my consideration. To purchase a bottle of shielding lotion, please visit skinmdnatural.com. For a chance to win a bottle of Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion, stop by the Smooth and Polished Giveaway.

The community garden is beginning to show signs of growth and beauty. Tulips create a wave of silky red. Nearby, tiny leaves emerge from first plantings. There will be many more flower pictures in the months to come.

Happy painting, ladies!
