A catbird in the garden

Hello ladies,

Let me introduce you to one of my garden companions: the grey catbird.

As I was taking pictures of roses, a little friend settled on a low perch in front of my camera.

So pleased to make your acquaintance.

How are you, this fine day?

Quite well, thank you.

Then suddenly, I found myself in a musical. The catbird sang to me for a few minutes before taking wing to his next performance.

Such singing deserves a bouquet!

The catbird is a good friend of mine. He seems happy for my presence. He was no more than two feet away when I took the pictures. I could have reached over and pet his head, were that something he fancied. The catbird often follows me around the garden and sings to me.
