Hard Candy Mouthing Off Sheer Lip Shine

Hello ladies,

Today I am wearing a lip gloss named after a daily pleasure: Caffeine. This sparkly neutral gloss is a Mouthing Off sheer lip shine from Hard Candy. The glitter provides enhancement for the natural lip color while the gloss adds a slight tint and a pretty sheen.

I can imagine Caffeine working well with a variety of skin tones. It brings enough color to my fair complexion to balance out bolder eye makeup. I could easily see Caffeine pairing beautifully with darker skin.

Mouthing Off sheer lip shine could be worn in a number of ways. I am showing a thorough application. A light coat of gloss could still be work appropriate. Caffeine could also be layered over a creme lipstick or lip liner to add sparkle. I love it over a nude lip.

I am pleased this gloss offers shine without stickiness. My lips feel moisturized without heaviness or residue. The texture fits my preferences. Caffeine currently resides in my go to make-up bag. The way Caffeine combines with my natural lip color makes it a great companion for this season's taupe nail polishes.

Mouthing Off has a faint chocolate flavor that makes me want to apply it even when the color doesn't need refreshing. It's a good kissing gloss. I wouldn't say the color will stay on long under such circumstances, but it won't get in the way.

I am definitely interested in experimenting with more Mouthing Off shades. Both Exotic and Drama Queen are tempting. If you like a sheer gloss with lots of shimmer, it's worth trying.

Evil Shades: Diana's Bow Wicked Gloss

Hello ladies,

I want to present to you: Diana's Bow Wicked Gloss from Evil Shades. This gloss came to me from the creator Andrea at Black Nail Polish and Lip Gloss. I won a naming contest she held back in the winter. Diana's Bow was generously packaged with silver spheres and purple flowers for nail art, along with a sample eye shadow.

The blue sparkle reminded me of the Moon. Diana's Bow is another name for the first crescent. Pale pink is such a springy shade befitting a maiden. I also liked the play of the word bow with the Cupid's bow shape of the mouth.

The sheer pink with pale blue micro shimmer reminds me of the lacy pink and white rhodochrosite and the blue flash from rainbow moonstone .

Evil Shades Lip Glosses contain the following ingredients: Coconut oil, cocoa butter, mango butter, stevia, hydrogenated castor oil, glycine soybean lipids, lauryl laurate and candillia wax.

The gloss doesn't have a sticky texture on the lips. It has a slick feel like a fresh application of body butter. This is the perfect gloss for ladies who suffer from dry lips. The oils and butters in the components are so healing and moisturizing.

Diana's Bow is a subtle gloss. It provides a pretty enhancement for natural lip color. I appreciate the way it adds sparkle to my lips. The perfect choice if you want a sheen, it creates a nice balance with a smokey eye or a bold eye look.

I would recommend applying Wicked Gloss with a lip brush for precision. I am impressed with the longevity of this shade. The sheen of color and moisturizing properties last for many hours.

Diana's Bow has certainly made me curious about her other Wicked Glosses. I am interested in Sasha's Heart (deep brown toned purple with green sparkle) and Loxensis (pink toned coral with aqua sparkle). I really admire Andrea's creativity in blending color. Leslie Tyler Liplicious Gloss: Spellbound

Hello ladies,

I recently had the chance to try Liplicious Gloss by Leslie Tyler. Since my first application, my tube of Spellbound has been residing in my Hello Kitty make up bag, along with my favorite cosmetics. This shade is a light berry with delicate shimmer. I love the natural appearance of this gloss.

Liplicious Gloss has been worn by the following celebrities: Angelina Jolie, Audrina Patrige, Kim Kardashian, Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, Megan Fox, and Shane Lamas. While admittedly I don't closely follow celebrity style, I do enjoy the make up and photography in Vogue magazine. I admire how make up artists achieve a natural looking lip with a blush of color. Liplicious Gloss easily produced that effect for me.

Spellbound seems like a fusion between a lipstick and a gloss. The consistency doesn't produce a sticky feeling the way some glosses can. After application, the color will settle into the lips. It feels matte, but never drying. As the gloss wears off, a subtle stain of color is left on the lips. Even if you don't have the chance to reapply, your lips won't look bare.

There are 42 available shades in the Liplicious Gloss Line. I am interested in trying Apricot Glaze, Burnished Bronze, Red, and Meteor. I am curious about Gold Nugget as well. I'm not sure how that shade work work for fair skin. Perhaps I could use it as a layering note.
