Vogue's Black Pearl??

Macro picks up everything I thought I cleaned up well. Lol!  Apparently not :)

After seeing Body and Soul blog Post on the Vogue Magazine featuring Chanel's Black Pearl I thought I could replicate the look.

Nothing like Vogue's Picture, huh.  So, What do you think? Maybe next time I'll do a full mani on the fake look.

Chanel Black Pearl 513 Le Vernis

Black Pearls, Black Pearl, Black Pearls!!  Lol!  I was so excited when Chanel debut this polish on there website for free shipping. Yay! That's the best way to buy chanel is when they offer free shipping and you don't have to pay taxes.  It's a little savings and from taking a trip to the Mall.  I didn't get the other 2 from this collection they looked meh to me.  I have no dupes in my collection that came close to Black Pearl.  Someone on MUA said that Wet n Wild from the Craze Collection 'Morbid' was a dupe but in my opinion there not at least not from the bottle.  Besides, Morbid is more green and has green microshimmer in it.  I haven't done a swatch comparison of them.

My biggest lemming is Chanel Vert Sacrilege it's lighter in color compare to black pearl. It's a metallic green frost with brighter green microshimmer. I thought it was a dupe but no way!  For now Black Pearl is satisfying me (giggles).

Black Pearl is grey/green.  It has a pearly finish with a bit of silver veining. Only needed 2 coats.  

So, what do you think of Black Pearl, unique, dupable...

Chanel Riva From The Cruise Collection

Do you think Riva will be a big hit like Chanel's Jade?  It is a pretty pale baby blue and from the looks of the bottle it has some shimmer.  I am happy to have Jade in my collection!  Maybe Riva will join *_*  Don't know because rumor has it that it's sold out already. How can a polish sell out before it's even launched? Geez!

Chanel Riva will arrive at Chanel boutiques and beauty counters, as well as online at Chanel.com on December 1. It retails for $39.  Yikes!!  Will have to save up for this babe.

What are your thoughts?  What's up with the price hike?  We can wait on a dupe...

CHANEL Nouvelle Vague meets Illusion D'or...

It's Fabulous Friday (doing the happy dance) I love Chanel, There Classy, Elegant, and Intriguing it's just something about those square bottles that I adore.  I do keep the boxes they come in,  I really do. (giggles)  
The formula is creamy and I love it's Aqua Le Vernis goodness.  Was opaque on the 1st coat but used my standard 2 coats to get an even application.  Here she is, Isn't she pretty...

Nouvelle meets Illusion D'or

I was debating about getting Illusion D'or glad I clicked the button to order it! Nothing like it in my collection.  Micro fine gold dust with blue and purple glitter, it's amazing.  Click to get a closer look.
