Look what my Mom snagged at a garage sale for me:




She got some more (polishes not Street Wears), but this was the standout of the bunch. Can't wait to try it out and get pictures posted for you all.

REVISITING OLD FRANKENS

Since changing my storage system by color, I came across some of my old frankens. I pulled out my GREEN shoebox (one of them, lol) and saw a couple of frankens and thought I would put them on again. I found Monster Mash (this totally fits in w/ the Halloween theme this month!) and Getcha Money Right (lol, LOVE this name!).

errrrr, well WE named that franken, lol! After the weekend long vote, Spark In the Dark was the winning name! So thank you to all who voted!! I have another little Originals By Brooke to add to my stash!

Thanks to all of you who submitted a guess to name my forrest green franken. You guys really had some good ones :) You all are so great about coming up with names for my frankens that I think it will be a regular thing I do here. I am thinking about maybe adding in a small prize for the person who comes up with the winning name. Of course, there might be one or two frankens that I might already have a name in mind for, but I just really enjoy getting you all's input for names!

MONSTER MASH - PROPER PICS

Last week I only had like two crappy pics of my franken Monster Mash. So here are some better pics of this loverly!

I decided to top Monster Mash off with Love My Nails - Crystal. I hadn't tried this top coat before and I wasn't expecting much since it is Love My Nails brand, but it really wasn't bad at all. I got a good tip from Nail Juice (I think) that a good way to get the big, chunky glitters out like this one has, is to dip your brush in and pull it straight out. I did that and it seemed to work pretty good. I really liked how this turned out :)

I think I really liked this name because I have such a LOVE for Halloween, it is my favorite holiday of the whole year! I celebrate the whole month of October :)

My dear Nix, I loved your name of Leprechaun Blood, too! I'm thinking maybe a lighter green with some gold chunky glitter would be a perfect franken for the name Leprechaun Blood!
