Sally Hansen Distressed Denim...C R A C K L E

Good Morning,

Are you all cracked out yet!!  Sometimes I am and sometimes I'm not.  As of right now I'm not. Lol!  I love the color of Sally Hansen's Distressed Denim.  When I picked it up I thought it was a twin to Revlon's Royal.  Distressed Denim looks like a royal blue color from the bottle.  It's a jelly texture and the color is much darker on the nail. I thought the tiny brush was going to give me trouble but no troubles at all.   It looks amazing over Finger Paint's Give Pink A Chance.

I love the way the cracks turned out large not teeny tiny.  I applied it using a left to right swishing motion.

Nail Stamp Today

Today I have a stamp I did. I used the art deco plate a-92, I think it's a replica of a konad plate. I used the same finger paints color from yesterday "Add and Abstract"

Swatch of Finger Paints

Today I have a swatch for you from the Finger Paints collection. These nailpolish's are really good. They last long and they also are the "3 Free" and the colors are beautiful. This particular one I just got on sale yesterday for $1.99 at Sally Beauty Supply. It is called "Add and Abstract" It is a lovely blue color with some green tint shimmer when you move you nails around.

I'm Not Lying I love Nail Polish...

Okay, I have one more crackle mani to show you for this week.  This time I layered OPI Black Shatter horizontally.  It gave it a new spin on the crack look.  It looks like I had my nails under one of those lie detector machines.  Doesn't it? Lol!

If you want to see the purple polish its Aren't You Glad-ioulous ('New' from the Finger Paints Palette of Petals Collection) alone click here

Funky French Mani

I had lots of fun this week with crackles!

CoverGirl Crackle Boo Hoo!

After playing with Cover Girl's white crackle now it's time for her black crackle.  It's nothing like Black Shatter as you can see.  She cracks totally different.  Black Shatters formula is thicker and cracks or shatters as soon as you lay it down.  Cover Girl takes some some to start and finish cracking.  Since I'm a lover of crackle polishes I love them the same. Oh, and if you're wondering where I got the Cover Girl's I found them at Dollar Tree

After Finger Paints Dahlia By Number  (From the 'New' Finger Paints Palette Of Petals Collection) dried completely I applied one thin coat of Boo Hoo!  If you want to see Dahlia By Number alone click here

I think my index finger looks like a lightning bolt

I hope you find some of these crackles.  Did you find other colors?  I want the orange and yellow one.

Until next time please have a great nail polish day. (✿◠‿◠) Share/Bookmark

Go Green Friday! A Ruffian Crackle

(Live Green, Love Green, Think Green)

Good Morning everyone it's Friday!! Whoo Who.  See my big smile.  I have been wanting to do a Ruffian Mani for quite sometime.  Still playing with crackle polish.  After swatching all of my finger paints and still had on Chrysanthe mums the word I topped it with one layer of Cover Girl Ghost Crackle.  I think it's fairly cool looking.

I want to call this Crack Green Eggs and Ham. Lol!

Going Green Tip: Hang outside to dry-Get a cloths line or rack to dry your cloths. Your cloths will last longer and you will save money.

Finger Paints Winter Dreams Collection Swatches and Review

Winter Wishes: Gold fine glitter. It's a thick base covered really well with the first coat. I used 2 coats.  This would be great to wear with a black and white formal affair.

Holly Good Times: Gold/Red glitter I used 2 coats, could have used another coat. Formula was great!

Mulberry Madness: Deep Berry w/silver glitter, very vibrant and impressive.  I like this one.  Used 2 coats.  Not very shiny as you notice here.  After applying topcoat Wowzer!  Sorry no picture.

Mistletoe Mischief: Hunter deep green w/green shimmer.  A little more deeper then what my picture is showing.  I love it!

Just Plum Fun:  Deep purple plum w/shimmer, opaque with 1st coat used 2 coats.  This is one of my favorite fall colors.

Merry Mittens: Red w/gold glitter dispensed throughout the bottle and is very visible on the nail. Used 2 coats.

I love this entire collection.  No application issues.  Winter Wishes was the only one on the thick side but, still applied well.  I thought Mistletoe Mischief  was going to be a jelly but it was only jellish with the first coat.

Finger Paints Breast Cancer Awareness Collection Review

Good Morning,  I hope you are having a terrific Thursday.  We have been having lots of rain.  So far  have been by passing  really bad storms. Living in Florida we worry about the Hurricanes. *-*  Today, I have 2 beautiful pink polishes from Finger Paints to show you.  I don't normally wear pinks because they are so basic but,  these are impressive.  I like the way they look on me.

                       I Pink I Can
I pink I can--was a bit streaky so I needed 3 coats to get an even application.  There is slight shimmer in the bottle but not visible on the nail at all.  As you see I had to cut my nails way down.  Sorry my skin is showing underneath...macro picks up everything :D

                      I'm A Survivor
I'm A Survivor--No problems with application at all.  Very easy to work with.  Only need 2 coats. You can see the shimmer from the bottle as well as on the nail.  Sorry about my middle finger it broke again :(

If you don't have any pinks in your collection I recommend these.  If you are a pink lover I'm sure you will enjoy them even more.  These will be available at your local Sally's October 1, 2010 tomorrow or you can purchase them here
