Daisies Blowing In The Wind

Yesterday I got lots of compliments on Yellow Brick Road.  Emma Greenwood said that it looks like custard and it sure does. Lol!  I added some nailart to give it more pizazz.   My dd and some friends just loved my nailart stamping design.  I call it Daisies Blowing In The Wind.

Products Used:
DL Yellow Brick Road
Plate GCOCL C01
Konad special polish in white and blue

If you don't think yellow looks good against your skintone just maybe if you add some nailart to add more coloring to it, it just might work for your skintone.

Deborah Lippmann Yellow Brick Road 1, 2 and 3 coat Swatches

Okay,  I have a special request from the lovely Piff.   Here are swatches of 1, 2 and 3 coats of Yellow Brick Road.  It's not streaky but very sheer translucent.  This would work great for syrup nails.

                                              One Coat

Opps! pinky was touched by mistake

Two Coats
sorry about the shadow on ring and pinky fingers

Three Coats

Please note the lighting is different on these pictures. The yellow is much more brighter then what's showing here.  Go to my original post here

I hope I helped you ladies so you can decide if you want to purchase this lovely polish.

Deborah Lippmann's Yellow Brick Road Swatch and Review

A warm medium toned canary yellow jelly (somewhat transparent) finish.  It's very shiny too!  Makes me think of the bright and cheery sun that's so warm and bright today.

The formula is really nice not streaky at all.  It's very sheer but buildable.  I used 3 coats and my nail line is still showing but not where I dislike it. This is the yellow polish that Lady Gaga wore at the Grammy's.  I believe that yellow nails are among the trend for this spring/summer.

This shade launches on April 15 and will be available for $16 at http://www.deborahlippmann.com

I really love this polish it's really different then most jellies I own.  Will you be jumping on the yellow wagon this spring/summer?
