It's Pink Wednesday...Fashionista

Good Morning,

Today I'm wearing Pink!  It's Confetti Fashionista.  I swatch my polishes at night and sometimes I don't know how to describe a color so I checked The List of Colors thats shown on my left side bar.  Fashionista is a pink that's between a magenta and a french rose.  Let's just say it's a pink/coral. Formula wise it's great! The first coat appear to be jelly like. To get the saturated look I used three coats. I'm starting to become a three coater.

I'm liking these Confetti's they are still available at my CVS stores.

Craving Coral

Good Morning,

Out of all the colors I have been wearing this summer.  Thus far Coral is my favorite to wear.  It screams summer time.  Revlon Craving Coral is the best coral I came across.  It's an orange-y red coral creme.  It's so rich and vibrant!  The formula is a bit on the thin side though it covered nicely in three coats. I found it at Big Lots for only $2.00. 

Craving Coral was on my toes for about 2 weeks.  I loves it!

On Holiday: BB Couture Hemera

Hello ladies,

Shading myself with an ivory lace parasol, I journeyed across town wearing an orange sun dress and a silk scarf draped over my shoulders. I ran into a friend walking his greyhound and he remarked that I looked like a "Victorian British woman on holiday in India".  I had to create a manicure for such a sentiment!

Using Konad white special polish, I repurposed a French tip design from Bundle Monster plate 220. I placed a white button pearl from Art Club in the center of each stylized chrysanthemum. The sparkly line was formed with an Art Club striper in Gold Glitter. I arranged the following ornaments along the diagonal: orange jewel, peach pearl, yellow jewel, golden pearl. 

A tiny bee visited rested on the rose.

Look at the gorgeous shimmer in the bottle!

A flower ring and an owl ring. 

Hemera is a gorgeous, warm coral shimmer. The silvery, white sparkle appears icy like a frozen treat. The color reminds me of gourmet gelato. I am showing four coats here, but I wore this shade for a day with only two. I think three would bring opacity for those with active length nails. Hemera is semi-sheer and easy to apply.

This manicure makes me want to ride on the back of a fancy, well cared for elephant.  How about you?

A Coral One

Good Morning,

I have been so busy lately and buying too much polish.  I miss blogging! Today, I am showing you my notd.  It's a gorgeous bright coral from Sinful Colors *Hazard* from their new colors.  The formula is thick and  is creme-y and only needed 2 coats. 

I was playing around with my new BM plate set but my stamping didn't turn out so well so I'm not showing you. Nothing wrong with the plates its the user. Lol!  You deserve to look at nice nail designs :)

Keep in mind this color is more coral then what's showing.

Orly Precious Collection/Gilded Coral

Good Morning,

I stopped into Sally's picked up a few polishes from the Orly Precious Collection.  Gilded Coral caught my eye because it's unique to me and I wanted it in my collection.  It's such a precious shade.

I would consider this a light duochrome with lots of  gold shimmer added in. It really shines in the sun.  I also picked up Royal Velvet from this collection another gorgeous duochrome.

Pearls and coral

Hello ladies,

There was about an hour of sun in Philadelphia today. This morning, I chose Coral Polish from eyeko with the thought of counteracting the days of rain and clouds. Aside from being a beautiful and vibrant jelly formula, Coral Polish may have power over the weather. I'll leave it up to you ladies to do your own experiments. There is your whimsy for the day!

From Konad plate S09, I stamped the line of flowers in white special polish. I alternated the positioning for my ring, middle and pointer fingers. I centered the design on each pinky nail. Ladies with wider nails would probably be able to get the entire image to fit vertically, as I did on my thumb. I added pale orange pearls to the center of the larger flowers. This look has an Asian influence.

The sheen of Coral Polish is lovely!

This photo best illustrates the design placement. I love how the petals of this white rose form a pinwheel.

The petals are the same shade as the pearls embellishing my nails.

Coral Polish even glows in diffuse light.

This chrysanthemum would look at home beneath the sea.

Coral Polish is a jelly formula that appears bright and glossy in just about every light. With two coats, you will have visible nail line. Three coats brings perfect opacity. Coral Polish still looks glassy and pretty at two coats. The color builds easily so you can choose whatever saturation you prefer.

I understand why eyeko labeled Coral Polish as For resort nails. The color is a cheer inducing, even on a (mostly) rainy day.
