Refinee Age-Reversing Skin Care: Firming Mineral Moisture Cream

Hello ladies,

Firming Mineral Moisture Cream from Refinee Age-Reversing Skin Care has been keeping my skin looking fresh and supple all throughout the summer season. I appreciate how the botanical extracts, marine peptides and vitamins improve texture and encourage the firm appearance found in young skin.

I have been using Firming Moisture Cream in the evenings after cleansing. The directions recommend applying in both the a.m. and p.m., but I have had noticeable results with once daily use. I prefer to wear a moisturizer with sunscreen in the morning and use treatment products at night.

The weight and texture of Firming Moisture Cream is the gold standard of how anti-aging moisturizers should be formulated. It's a light cream that absorbs easily and imbues the skin with a fresh appearance instantly.

This product is intended for all skin types. I believe anyone whose skin needs moisture could benefit. I love how Firming Moisture Cream is non-irritating even in humid weather. If you are searching for one moisturizer you could use year round in any climate, I would recommend trying this cream.

The packaging of Refinee Skin Care products is equal to the quality of the contents. Firming Mineral Moisture Cream comes is a frosted glass jar. It has a round opening for the screw off lid and fans into a Marquis shape at the bottom. A functional design, the jar is easy to hold. This moisturizer offers such a pretty aesthetic that it's worth placing on a vanity or displaying in a basket of well loved loved products.

Refinee does not test on animals. The formula for Firming Mineral Moisture Cream is paraben free.

Ingredients: Purified Water, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Glyceine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Sorbitol, Stearic Acid, Cetyl Esters, Methyl Gluceth-20, Hydrogenated Soybean Glyceride, Butylene Glycol, Ahnfeltia Concinna Extract (Red Marine Algae), Sodium Hyaluronate, Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C), Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Retinyl Palmitate (Vitamin A), Squalane, Ubiquinone (CoQ10), Allantoin, Panax Ginseng Root Extract, Gingko Biloba Leaf Extract, Aesculus Hippocastanum (Horse Chestnut) Seed Extract, Symphytum Officiniale (Comfrey) Leaf Extract, Rosa Canina (Rose Hips) Fruit Extract, Anthem Nobilis (Chamomile) Flower Extract, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Distillate, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Oil, Dimethicone, Polysorbate-20, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Tetrasodium EDTA, Benzyl Alcohol, Imidazolidinl Urea, Phenoxyethanol, Potassium Sorbate, Annato.

Ahnfeltia Concinna Extract, red marine algae, encourages cell turnover. Perfect in a night cream, this ingredient helps promote cell renewal while you rest. The hydrating benefits of marine algae will assist with maintaining a smooth surface to the skin.

Ubiquinone or Coenzyme Q-10 helps the body maintain healthy levels of collagen and elastin. The support of CoQ10 can positively affect skin firmness and elasticity. As the amount of CoQ10 diminishes with age, it is useful to replenish through skin care.

Firming Mineral Moisture Cream is a quality and effective skin treatment. One of my all time favorites of any brand, this skin cream has earned my highest recommendation. I will definitely keep this moisturizer stocked with my most reached for skin care products.

Firming Mineral Moisture Cream was sent to me for review. Available for purchase at refineeskincare.com,  a 2 oz. (59g) jar retails for $64.00. You can explore more about the parent company at sorme.com.

The Skin Society: Eye Treatment Serum

Hello ladies,

For the past six weeks, I have been using Eye Treatment Serum from The Skin Society with noticeable results. The formula contains the botanicals calendula and nymphaea alba flower along with nutritive oils such as borage and flax seed. Eye Treatment Serum performs beautifully as a firming agent. It works effectively to moisturize and smooth over fine lines around the delicate eye area.
I apply Eye Treatment Serum after cleansing every evening before bedtime. The formula is concentrated, so I discovered I need less product than with most eye creams. The consistency is a cross between a gel and a cream. It absorbs readily, leaving my skin soft with no oily residue.

The first day after applying this serum, I noticed firming results.  It also does a notable job in reducing puffiness. Fine lines diminished during the first two weeks of regular use. Shortly after I began using this product, my neighbor asked me to recommend an eye cream. I am always pleased when I can see subtle changes that my skin care routine is working. When others notice results and want to try the product themselves, it's even better.

For those with extra dry skin, the serum can be layered under another moisturizer. I found it functions well on its own. It's good to know layering is an option for colder weather when skin needs extra hydration.

If you are accustomed to slathering on copious amounts of eye cream, I will advise against this. Putting on too much product caused some temporary eye irritation, a mild stinging that went away after a few minutes. Using a moderate amount of Eye Treatment Serum resulted in a much better experience. In caring for my dry skin, it's fantastic to achieve the perfect moisture levels with a standard amount of product.

The packaging features an air tight bottle for hygienic dispensing. I appreciate that the cap can be unscrewed to allow for the contents to be used in entirety. I will admit to fishing out one last application of Miracle Lift with a cotton swab. I am certain I will use the same technique when my bottle of Eye Treatment Serum is almost empty.

The skin care glossary provides a helpful breakdown of the ingredients. Many of the components, even those with chemical sounding names, are naturally sourced.

Ingredients: Distilled Water, Isononyl Isononoanate, Coco-Caprlyate, Squalane, Glycerin, Acrylates Polymer, VP/Polycarbamyl Polyglycol Ester, Hydrolyzed Sesame, Protein PG-Propyl Methylsilanediol, Xylitylglucoside, Anhydroxylitol, Xylitol, Butylene Glycol, Escin, Ruscus Aculeatus Root Extract, Ammonium Glycyrrhizate, Centalia Asiastica Extract, Hydrolyzed Yeast Protein, Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract, Brassica Campestris Seed Oil, Schinus Terebinthifolius Seed Extract, Sodium Palmitoyl Proline, Nymphaea Alba Flower Extract, Borage Oil, Flax Seed Oil, Dimethicone, Arachidyl Glucoside, Palmitoyl Proline, Retinol Palmitate, Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Panthenol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Retinol, Magnesium Palmitoylglutamate, Sodium Palmitoylsarcosinate, L-Alanine, Polyacrylate 13, Polyisobutene, Polysorbate 20, Dipalmitoyl, Hydroyproline Palmitoyl, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Capryloylhydroxamic Acid, Caprylyl  Glycol, Sodium Phytate, Natural Fragrance.

Escin is derived from horse chestnut. It helps with circulation and strengthening capillary walls. If you are prone to broken capillaries, escin is a very useful ingredient.

Nymphaea alba flower, commonly known as white lily, is soothing to sensitive skin and aids in reducing inflammation. It also works as an anti-oxidant to help prevent signs of premature aging.

Borage oil contains gamma linolenic acid, a fatty acid known for its anti-inflammatory properties. It is rich in the essential fatty acid omega-6. Borage oil is an emollient that replenishes skin's natural moisture. It can help with sensitive skin issues like rosacea and acne.

Eye Treatment Serum is the perfect choice if you are looking for a product to firm skin and minimize the look of fine lines around the eyes. It definitely gets my recommendation. I have had very positive results with products I have tried from The Skin Society and feel confidence in the quality of the brand.

The Skin Society Eye Treatment Serum was sent to me for review. This product can be purchased from theskinsociety.com and overallbeauty.com. A one ounce (30ml) bottle retails for $45.50.

Refinee Age-Reversing Skin Care: Nourishing Daily Cleanser

Hello ladies,

I have been having a positive experience over the past month using Nourishing Daily Cleanser by Refinee Age-Reversing Skin Care. Suitable for normal, dry, combination, sensitive and mature skin, this lightly foaming cleanser gently removes makeup and rids skin of impurities. The botanical formula contains soothing extracts of chamomile, aloe and arnica along with lavender and tangerine essential oils.

I use Nourishing Daily Cleanser each morning and evening. As this gel cleanser is concentrated, I find I only require a small amount to thoroughly wash my face and neck. I appreciate how this product offers deep cleansing without contributing to dryness or tightness of the skin. My face feels soft to the touch immediately after washing.

Nourishing Daily Cleanser does an exemplary job of preventing irritation in warm, humid weather. My sensitive skin is prone to tiny bumps from occasional heat rash. It never occurred to me that the residue from a hydrating cleanser could exacerbate heat related skin sensitivity. Even with temperatures in the mid 90s fahrenheit, my skin has remained perfectly clear and fresh.

The relaxing scent of tangerine and lavender essential oil combined with the subtle note of chamomile is welcome before bedtime. These oils are commonly utilized in aromatherapy to relieve insomnia and promote restful sleep. The scent is auspicious in the morning as well to help me ease into my day.

Even though I am very pleased with the contents, I also have to compliment the packaging design. The simplicity of the white bottle with silver band and grey lettering make it suitable to leave this cleanser in view without distracting from any style of bathroom decor. The curved bottle feels comfortable to hold. It is clear that Sorme considered not only the ingredients when creating their Refinee Age Reversing Skin Care line, but also the experience a person would have while going through their daily regimen.

Ingredients: Water, Cocoamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Lauroyl Oat Aminoacids, Glycerin, Sodium Myristoyl Glutamate, Chamomile Extract, Panax Ginseng Root Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Arnica Extract, Coceth-7, PEG1-PEG9 Lauryl Glycol Ether, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil,  Apricot Kernal Oil, Citric Acid, Lavender Essential Oil, Tangerine Essential Oil, Tetrasodium EDTA, Methylparaben, Propylparaben.

Lavender essential oil is a veritable panacea for the skin. It is used to treat acne, wrinkles, cellulite, burns, inflammation, eczema and psoriasis. The word lavender comes from the Latin, lavare, meaning 'to wash'.

Beneficial for the care of acne and oil prone skin, Tangerine essential oil has antimicrobial and antiseptic properties. It can help alleviate skin congestion and maintain proper oil balance.

If you are looking for a high quality skin cleanser with boutique packaging and a calming natural fragrance, I can certainly recommend Nourishing Daily Cleanser from Refinee. I am very impressed with this product.

Nourishing Daily Cleanser was provided for review. A 6.6 fluid ounce (200 ml) bottle retails for $42.00 and can be purchased at refineeskincare.com. You can also explore the brand at sorme.com

Reviva Labs: Almond Astringent

A fancy peony

Hello ladies,

With the arrival of warm weather, I have found Almond Astringent from Reviva Labs to be the perfect skin freshener and cleanser. The tempting fragrance of this product, in union with the skin balancing results, makes Almond Astringent a new favorite in my skin care routine.

After washing my face, I apply Almond Astringent using two cotton rounds. I moisten one piece of cotton for my t-zone area (forehead, nose, and chin) and another for my cheeks and neck. I smooth the astringent soaked cotton over my face in an upwards motion.

The scent of Almond Astringent is delectable. It reminds me of a liqueur soaked pastry. The aroma is gourmand, but not sweetened. The essential oil fragrance is gender neutral and would be appreciated by any almond lover.

Although Almond Astringent is recommended for sensitive and oily skin, I believe it would be beneficial for all skin types. The alcohol free formula suits my dry skin perfectly. This astringent provides a deeper cleansing effect than the moisture enhancing toners I have tried from Reviva Labs.

Almond Astringent is a useful antidote to warm, humid days. I appreciate being able to quickly whisk away sunscreen residue and perspiration after returning from a walk. This product would be a helpful addition to a gym bag or locker. The four fluid ounce (118ml), spill proof bottle makes it convenient to carry with you. I have tossed the bottle in my purse quite a few times.

Applying a toner or mild astringent twice daily has contributed to maintaining the natural oil balance across my entire face. Almond Astringent has helped me avoid redness and irritation on my cheeks on either side of my nose. While I don't have acne prone skin, warm weather can cause sensitivity. This astringent both cleanses and calms my skin.

Ingredients: Water, Sorbitol, Polysorbate 20, Almond Oil, Essential Oil Fragrance, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Citric Acid.

Almond oil contains natural fatty acids that help dissolve acne producing deposits from pores. Almond oil also has moisturizing properties that can bring a glow to the complexion. It is one of the most auspicious oils in helping to balance and clear skin irritation.

If you are looking for an astringent the entire household can use and enjoy, I would recommend Almond Astringent. If you decide to keep the entire bottle for yourself, I won't tell.

Almond Astringent was sent to me for review. This product is no longer available at revivalabs.com. US residents can order Almond Astringent by contacting the Consumer Division Director at 1-800-257-7774, extension 19. I found a quick Google search yields many on-line purchase options.

Mario Badescu Skin Care: Cellufirm Moisturizer

Hello ladies,

Cellufirm Moisturizer by Mario Badescu has been part of my skin care regimen for the past several months. This hydrating lotion is infused with sea vegetables and collagen to help nourish and imbue the skin with a youthful fullness.
As an evening treatment, I apply Cellufirm Moisturizer over a collagen based serum. This product can be used singly for those with normal to dry skin types. I also received a sample size of the Cellufirm Drops Serum, which acts as a moisture amplifier. I found this to be effective as an emollient layer to soothe my extra dry skin.

I appreciate how well Cellufirm Moisturizer transitions with the change of the seasons. Because my skin is also sensitive, I typically need to switch to a lighter weight formula at the end of Winter. I have had positive results with Cellufirm Moisturizer from February through May. I feel the versatility of this product comes from its consistency; It has the hydrating properties of a night cream within the form of a lotion.

I love the glow and freshness my complexion has when using Cellufirm Moisturizer. Products containing collagen and ocean botanicals help give my skin the look of being well rested despite what the alarm clock might tell.

Ingredients: Deionized Water (Aqua), Hydrolyzed Glycsaminoglycans, Actiphyte of Bladderwrack, Algae Extract, Propylene Glycol, Carnation (Mineral Oil),  Squalane, Isopropyl Myristate, Stearic Acid, Cetyl Alcohol, Myristyl Lactate, Collagen, Water (and) Propylene Glycol (and) Hydrolyzed Protein, Filaggrin, Silicone, Triethanolamine, Diazolidinyl Urea, Propylparaben, Methylparaben.

Bladderwrack is a type of seaweed. Its mineral rich components can contribute to skin health and longevity. It can help purge the skin of toxins that contribute to wrinkles and other signs of premature aging.

Algae extract is rich in nutritive phytochemicals. This ingredient can bring additional moisture and increase the skin's suppleness.

Collagen is present in young skin and diminishes with age. Products that replenish collagen or stimulate collagen production are useful in helping the skin to retain a youthful appearance. I love how smooth my skin looks after applying this product.

If you have been searching for a skin treatment to provide anti-aging and hydrating properties, I can recommend Cellufirm Moisturizer.

Cellufirm Moisturizer was given to me by a friend. A two ounce (59ml) bottle retails for $18 USD and is available for purchase at mariobadescu.com.

Reviva Labs: High Potency Collagen Serum

Hello ladies,

Over the past few months, I have incorporated Reviva Labs High Potency Collagen Serum into my skin care routine. This product offers a pure form of soluble collagen to encourage smooth skin and add fullness, associated with youthful complexions.

In the evenings, I apply Collagen Serum after cleansing. For dry skin, this serum provides additional moisture when worn under night cream. Those with normal to oily skin can utilize Collagen Serum alone as an evening treatment.

I appreciate how this product enhances the performance of both day lotions and night creams with collagen as a key ingredient. I have noticed increased plumpness of the skin and watched fine lines diminish more quickly when I apply Collagen Serum as the first layer of moisture.

The directions recommend to use nightly every other week. I find employing trusted anti-aging serums and moisturizers in rotation yields better results. I alternate Collagen Serum with Skin Energizing Gel and Hyaluronic Acid Serum. While Collagen Serum is the least moisturizing of the three, it does effectively boost hydration.

Ingredients: Demineralized Spring Water, Glycerin (Veg.), Soluble Collagen, Hawaiian Seaweed Extract, Polysorbate 20, Citric Acid, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Beta Carotene, Simethicone, Potassium Sorbate and Sodium Benzoate (Preservatives).

This serum contains 10% freeze dried native collagen, a higher grade than can be obtained from solvent or heat extraction.  The exemplary quality of the collagen in this formula makes such a difference in skin texture and appearance.

Replenishing lost collagen should be part of an anti-aging skin care regimen. Collagen Serum can provide a natural solution to adding moisture and helping to restore a more youthful appearance to the skin. It's a product worth trying!

High Potency Collagen Serum was sent to me for review. This product can be purchased at
revivalabs.com and overallbeauty.com. A one fluid ounce (29.5 ml) bottle retails for $25.

B.liv by Cellnique Glow and Shine Mask

Hello ladies,

I have been applying B.Liv by Cellnique Glow and Shine mask every week for the past month. A pleasure to use, this mask affords a relaxing feel along with the scent of summer fruits. The skin clearing benefits of this treatment are suitable for all skin types.

Beginning with clean skin, moistened with a light splash of water, I apply a layer of Glow and Shine. The mask contains an exfoliant that feels like fine grains of sand. I massage the exfoliating beads against my skin for a minute or two until the mask becomes dry enough to set. I allow the mask to activate for ten minutes before rinsing. For a deeper clean, I apply Glow and Shine before showering. Giving my face a final gentle scrub in the steam heat of the shower helps dislodge any pore clogging debris.

Although Glow and Shine is part of the B.Liv Large Pores Range, it can assist other skin types as well. My dry skin has shown improvement in texture and smoothness, especially on my cheeks near the jaw line. Exfoliating masks are very useful for normal to dry complexions. When dead skin cells are removed, treatment moisturizers have a better chance to absorb and provide optimal hydration.

I appreciate that Glow and Shine helps balance my skin without irritating the sensitive areas. Using a weekly treatment mask has helped with maintaining the proper oil balance across my entire face. I tend to have less dryness to contend with on my cheeks and less active oil production on my nose.

Glow and Shine has a juicy scent that makes me think of black grapes and hibiscus tea. The fragrance of this treatment makes it even more enjoyable to use.

Ingredients: Purified Water (Aqua), Zinc Oxide, Glycerin, Kaolin, Hexyldecanol, Silica, Polysorbate 20, Cetearyl Alcohol, Lactic Acid, Stearic Acid, Bentonite, Cetyl Alcohol, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Cetearyl Sulfate, Diazolidinyl Urea, Menthyl Lactate, Methylparaben, Papaya Enzyme (Papain), Fragrance, Propylparaben.

Glycerin is a welcome ingredient in a clay mask. This natural humectant will draw moisture to the skin and act as a balancing agent for the cleansing effects of the clay.

Found in green papaya, papain is an enzyme that helps dissolve and remove dead skin cells. I look for papaya enzyme when choosing cleansing/exfoliating products. It brings about a glow in my skin.

If you are looking for a pore clearing mask that will help brighten the complexion and refine skin texture, Glow and Shine has earned my recommendation.

B.Liv Glow and Shine was sent to me for review. This product can be purchased from blivskin.com.

L'Oreal Eye Makeup Remover

Hello ladies,

I have been using L'Oreal Eye Makeup Remover for the past few weeks. An oil-free remover with a pretty floral scent and refreshing feel, it whisks away eye makeup with ease.
L'Oreal Eye Makeup Remover dissolves waterproof mascara, glitter eyeliner, pigments, mineral makeup and baked or pressed shadows expertly. Wearing makeup daily, I prefer smoky eye looks or fashion colors set over primer. I haven't experienced a variety of eye makeup this remover couldn't clear away. It even eliminates the staining residue from darker purples and bold greens.

The bottle isn't fitted with a reducer cap. I find the open neck style more convenient. I am able to saturate a cotton pad more completely for faster removal. Depending on the color intensity of my makeup, I may use one or two cotton rounds for thorough cleansing.

The scent of this product is lovely. Its delicate floral fragrance brings pleasure to the everyday task of makeup removal. With this cleaser in your medicine cabinet, you may never fall asleep with your makeup on again.

For those ladies who have blogs or post color swatches on forums, L'Oreal Eye Makeup Remover will take color off completely between testing a variety of shades. I tried swatching a soft white shimmer after a matte purple and there was no trace of the darker shadow left on my skin. I will be keeping a bottle of L'Oreal Eye Makeup remover on hand for swatching new eye shadow collections.

Ingredients: Water, Hexylene Glycol, Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate, Dipotassium Phosphate, Potassium Phosphate, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Allantoin, Magnesium Laureth-8 Sulfate, Magnesium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Oleth Sulfate, Magenesium Oleth Sulfate, Imidazolidnyl Urea, Methylparaben, Disodium EDTA, Sodium Benzoate, Fragrance, F.I.L.# B4853/1

The 100% oil-free formula is suitable for all skin types. I am impressed by how thoroughly this product removes eye makeup without over drying my sensitive skin.

If you are looking for a professional style cleansing product with an affordable price point, I recommend L'Oreal Eye Makeup Remover. This blue bottle will stay in continued residence in my medicine cabinet.

I purchased L'Oreal Eye Makeup Remover at my local CVS. A 4 fl. oz. (118mL) bottle retails for $6.99. You can find out more about L'Oreal products by visiting lorealparisusa.com

The Skin Society: Miracle Lift

Hello ladies,

I have been using Miracle Lift by The Skin Society with visible results. This product moisturizes, improves skin texture and softens the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. A serum infused with vitamins A, B5, C, and E, it offers skin healing botanicals and proteins. It is a beautifying treatment I look forward to using each day.
The bottle offers these amusing directions: Use when you go out and want to look fabulous! I apply Miracle Lift as a morning skin treatment. The formula has a light consistency, between a gel and a cream. I allow the serum to absorb fully before layering my daily sunscreen.

I believe Miracle Lift would benefit a variety of skin types, depending on usage. Those with dry skin could utilize this serum under face cream or sun protection. Normal or combination types could wear it as their primary moisturizer. For areas on the face and neck where firmness is particularly desired, it can also be applied as a localized treatment.

The results of Miracle Lift are immediate and impressive. My skin texture looks firmer minutes after application. This serum enacts a temporary plumping action for the skin, minimizing lines and refining texture. My face appears fresher and softer after applying Miracle Lift.

I was not surprised to learn, Michel Hegi, the creator of Miracle Lift is a doctor. This serum has the quality of a professional grade formula or a treatment one would receive during a spa facial. One of the delights of being a blogger is to learn about skin care lines produced by smaller companies and be able to share the results with readers.

The scent of this product is thoroughly enjoyable. The natural fragrance reminds me of tangerines. It has a sweet and tart scent that makes me think alternately of a fresh fruit bowl and gourmet jelly beans.

Ingredients: Distilled Water, Isononyl Isononanoate, Coco-Caprylate, Squalane (From Olive), Glycerin, Acrylates Polymer, VP/Polycarbamyl Polygylycol Ester, Hydrolyzed Sesame Protein, PG-Propyl Methylsilanediol, Xylitylglucoside, Anhydroxylitol, Xylitol, Sodium Palmitoyl Proline, Nymphaea alba flower extract, Polyacrylate 13, Polyisobutene, Polysorbate 20, Arachidyl Alcohol, Behehyl Alchohol, Arachidyl Glucoside, Retinol Palmitate (Vitamin A), Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vitamin C), Panthenol (Vitamin B5), Retinol, L-Alanine, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Dipalmitoyl hydroxyproline, Palmitoyl Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Palmitoyl proline, Magnesium palmitoylglutamate, Sodium palmitoyl sarcosinate, Capryloylhydroxamic Acid, Caprylyl Gylcol, Sodium Phylate, Natural Fragrance.

Hydrolyzed Sesame Protein offers skin smoothing and anti-wrinkle benefits. This is a common natural ingredient found in firming treatments.

Xylitylglucoside, Anhydroxylitol, and Xylitol are natural sugar compounds that help maintain moisture levels by stimulating the skin's production of hyaluronic acid.

Nymphaea alba (white lotus) flower extract has antioxidant and skin healing properties.

I can definitely recommend Miracle Lift, a moisturizing serum that encourages firmer skin. I love the results this product offers!

Miracle Lift was sent to me for review. This treatment can be purchased from theskinsociety.com and overallbeauty.com. A 1 fluid ounce (30mL) bottle retails for $44.50 USD.

Made from Earth: Holistic Honey Body Lotion

Hello ladies,

I have recently been enjoying Holistic Honey Body Lotion by Made from Earth. This natural lotion is an effective moisturizer filled with wholesome ingredients like organic honey, vitamin E, and neem oil. It also has an alluring fragrance that makes it a pleasure to apply.
Holistic Honey Body Lotion has a light consistency. This moisturizer is perfect for transitioning from the cool weather into Spring. With the approaching seasonal change, I no longer need to use body butters to stay hydrated. My dry skin requires care and attention year round. Holistic Honey Body Lotion has been essential in maintaining my skin's moisture levels.

I apply a medium layer after showering. The lotion absorbs fairly quickly, imbuing softness. I am impressed by how well the natural formula sinks into the skin. For those ladies who gravitate towards traditional products for fast action and absorption, I believe Holistic Honey Body Lotion would change your impression of what a natural product can do.

The scent of this lotion is lovely. Organic honey has a complex aroma that differs from the conventional varieties found at the supermarket. At the local farmers' market, there is a beekeeper who gathers honey from fields of native wildflowers and woodland hives near flowering trees.

These honeys vary in taste and scent by location of the hive and the season the honey was collected. Holistic Honey Body Lotion has a similar aroma to the some of the tree honeys I have experienced. It's sweet, dark and gingery. I would love it if the scent of this lotion could be translated into perfume.

Ingredients: Hamamelis virginiana (Witch Hazel), Cocos nucifera (Coconut) oil, Kosher Vegetable Glycerin, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Emulsifying Wax NF, Organic Honey, Vitis Vinifera (Grapeseed) Oil, Stearic Acid, Potassium Sorbate, Limnathes alba (Meadowfoam seed) Oil, Usnea barbata (Usnea Lichen) Extract, Xantham Gum (Polysaccharide Gum), Salix nigra (Black Willowbark) Extract, Essential Oils, Azadirachta indica (Neem) Oil, Rosmarinus officinalis (Rosemary) Oleoresin, Mannan, Citric Acid.

Honey is a natural humectant. Its effectiveness in drawing moisture to the skin makes it an ideal ingredient in lotions. Having strong antioxidant properties, honey can help neutralize free radicals and prevent damage that shows on the skin as lines and wrinkles.

Functioning as both antibacterial and antifungal agents, honey can encourage healing in cuts and skin irritations. It's a great added benefit in a skin lotion.

Neem oil is a staple in Ayurvedic medicine. It has been used to treat psoriasis, eczema and acne conditions. Balancing moisture levels, it's a wonderful tonic for the skin.

If you looking for a beautifully scented moisturizer composed of healthy ingredients, check out Holistic Honey Body Lotion by Made from Earth.

Apothecary: Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream

Hello ladies,

Today I want to share information about one of my favorite products for hands and nails: Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream. This moisturizer is a staple in my beauty regimen. Its concentrated formula can be utilized to treat dry skin on the lips, hands, elbows and feet.

I initially experienced Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream as a teenager. It was one of the first products for hand and nail care that joined my early assortment of beauty products. This hand cream has been a companion in helping me care for my dry skin over the years.

The product is a clear gel with a medium consistency. It absorbs readily, leaving a light shielding layer to protect skin from the elements. Neutrogena Hand Cream is concentrated. I apply one to two pea sized dots for both hands. While the packaging states that a 2 ounce tube can last over 200 applications, I tend to be more generous with my usage. I still find the intensive formula to be an economical choice.

In the evening, I massage this cream into the skin on my hands, with attention to my nails and cuticles. The glycerin rich formula does a notable job at preventing hang nails and cuticle damage caused from dryness. It also keeps the nail beds hydrated and guards against peeling and splitting. One of the components of maintaining nail length is using a quality hand cream. Proper moisturizing keeps nails flexible and inhibits breakage.

My tube of Neutrogena Hand Cream resides on my night stand. I love the versatility of the formula. If I forget to apply lip balm before bed, the smallest dab can be used to soften my lips. It is also an effective moisturizer for elbows and feet.

The compact size makes Neutrogena Hand Cream a useful product for travel. It can perform the functions of various skin care essentials. Its concentrated formula would ensure you had a sufficient amount to meet your skin care needs. It would also be great to toss into a purse or backpack for a day out.

The formula is sold in original and fragrance free varieties. The scent has been updated to a light floral that reminds me of Estee Lauder Pleasures. While lovely, the fragrance dissipates quickly. It wouldn't interfere with any perfume you chose to wear. Men who aren't comfortable with scented products would likely prefer the fragrance free option.

Ingredients: Water, Glycerin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Stearic Acid, Sodium Cetearyl Sulfate, Methylparaben, Dilauryl Thiodipropionate, Sodium Sulfate, Fragrance (1430-012).

The primary emollient in the Norwegian Formula is glycerin. This ingredient has been clinically proven to draw moisture to the skin. I find glycerin provides fast relief for dry skin issues. Glycerin is reputed to be helpful in healing eczema.

One of the most common questions I am asked as nail and beauty blogger is: What hand cream would you recommend? Neutrogena Hand Cream is consistently my favorite drug store moisturizer for hand and nail care.

I have used this product with great results for over fifteen years. I am curious if there are any other devotees of Neutrogena Hand Cream. It is certainly a drug store classic!

Neutrogena Hand Cream was sent to me for review. This product can be purchased at neutrogena.com or check your local drugstore. The retail price is $4.99 for a 2 ounce (56 g) tube.

Reviva Labs: Alpha Lipoic Acid,Vitamin C Ester and DMAE Cream

Hello ladies,

I have been using Alpha Lipoic Acid, Vitamin C Ester and DMAE Cream from Reviva Labs as a nightly treatment. This cream offers an impressive combination of ingredients to tone and firm, guard against free radical damage and increase skin radiance.
I was visiting with a friend I have known for six years and she asked me: Why aren't you aging? Similarly, while having lunch with my teenage nieces today, Julianna commented: Your face never changes or ages. My niece Shannon nodded, while adding: True. It's kinda weird. My nieces wanted me to detail my entire skin regimen.

The consensus is daily application of sunscreen no matter what the weather and a quality night time moisturizer are the major factors. Today I am going to share with you information about a night cream I have been using for the past few months. I have almost finished my first jar and am ready to start on the second.

Alpha Lipoic Acid, Vitamin C Ester and DMAE Cream is suitable for normal to dry skin. I think combination skin would do well with a lighter application. Because my skin is very dry, I layer this night cream over Hyaluronic Acid Serum. A thorough coating in the evening provides suitable hydration for even the driest skin. The cream has a light to medium consistency and absorbs well.

I appreciate how this night cream is emollient without being thick. Aside from the comfort of sleeping without a layer of heavy moisturizer on my face, it's also useful to be able to alter the amount of product I need to correspond with seasonal changes. I can apply the night cream more liberally in cold, dry weather and use less on warmer days. Being able to vary the amount I apply and still receive a favorable result makes Alpha Lipoic Acid, Vitamin C Ester and DMAE Cream like having several skin treatments in my medicine cabinet.

This night cream does a notable job providing lifting action at the jaw line, chin and cheek bones. If aging shows in your family history as sagging skin, look for DMAE on the ingredient list. It can help tone the skin and show greater definition in facial contours. If you are engaging in a weight loss program, DMAE will help keep the skin on the face and neck firm and lifted.

I found the affects of Alpha Lipoic Acid, Vitamin C Ester and DMAE Cream to be cumulative. The result of hydration was immediate. The firming and lifting increased over a few weeks. My skin texture continues to show subtle benefits even months later.

Ingredients: Demineralized Spring Water, Glyceryl Stearate, Soybean Oil, Stearyl Stearate, Vegetable Oil, Cetyl Alcohol, Soy Phospholipid Liposome Gel, Alpha Lipoic Acid, DMAE Bitartrate, Ascorbyl Palmitate (Vitamin C Ester), Whole Wheat Protein, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Retinyl Palmitate (Vitamin A), Ergocalciferol (Vitamin D), Aloe Vera Gel, Allantoin, Citric Acid, Polysorbate 20, Simethicone, Xantham Gum, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Citric Acid.

Alpha Lipoic Acid is a powerful antioxidant. Both water and fat soluble, it can penetrate to multiple levels of skin cells to protect against free radical damage, which shows on the skin as fine lines and wrinkles. It is a potent anti-aging ingredient.

Vitamin C Ester is a fat soluble, while traditional Vitamin C is water soluble. This quality makes Vitamin C Ester best suited to topical application in skin cream. It can be retained more easily by skin cells and effectively protect cell membranes against free radicals. This ingredient is a wonderful guard against pollution and environmental factors we encounter throughout the day.

If you are looking for a multi-purpose night cream to heal and protect the skin from future damage, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Vitamin C Ester and DMAE Cream is a worthy and affordable option. The ingredients present in this cream are the same as those found in boutique brands many times the price.

Alpha Lipoic Acid, Vitamin C Ester, and DMAE Cream was sent to me for review. This item is available at revivalabs.com and overallbeauty.com. A 2 ounce jar retails for $23.

Reviva Labs: Hawaiian Seaweed Beauty Mask

Hello ladies,

I have been using Hawaiian Seaweed Beauty Mask from Reviva Labs since the summer. This mask offers a blend of kaolin and bentonite clays with skin rejuvenating sea minerals. It's a fantastic balancing treatment and pore cleanser for all skin types.

Luna Pink Swirl Hibiscus. These blooms are gigantic. The largest is about eight inches in diameter.

Hawaiian Seaweed Beauty Mask feels like a classic facial treatment. Wearing this mask calls to mind a vintage icon with her hair swept up in a towel while lounging in a plush bathrobe. The mask even has a pale green tint from the seaweed.

This product would be so much fun for a family beauty night. I could easily imagine watching a movie with my teenage nieces and giving each other at home facials. It can also be used directly after the Light Skin Peel for a professional style treatment.

I apply a medium to heavy coat over cleansed skin and let the mask cure for about a half hour. What impresses me is Hawaiian Seaweed Beauty Mask doesn't dehydrate my skin the way some clay masks can. The kaolin and bentonite clays are well proportioned to extract impurities without over drying my skin. I tend to use this mask before bedtime. My skin is noticeably softer upon waking. I feel like it helps me get true beauty sleep.

The ingredients include: Purified Water, Hawaiian Seaweed Extract, Kaolin, Bentonite, Glycerin, Lubrajel, Wheat Germ Oil, Polysorbate 20, Sorbitol, Essential Oil Fragrance, Mica, Chromium Oxide Greens, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, and Citric Acid.

Seaweed is a natural source of vitamins, minerals and trace elements. It contains Vitamins A, B, B2, B3, B6, B12, C, E, and K. It also offers beta carotene, calcium, magnesium, niacin, iron, manganese, phosphorous, zinc, folic acid and pantothenic acid. Using products containing seaweed is great way to deliver healing nutrients to the skin.

Beneficial for sensitive skin, kaolin is the gentlest clay available. It exfoliates while stimulating blood circulation, surfacing a healthy glow. Kaolin clay contains calcium, magnesium, silica and zinc. Because kaolin treats the skin without drawing oil, it is a favorable choice for dry skins. It is useful for healing inflammation and treating acne.

Sourced from volcanic ash, bentonite clay is a natural skin purifier. It helps dislodge the standard pore clogging debris and oil. It's medicinal properties go further to remove free radicals, pesticides, heavy metals and toxins. Living in a major city, I really appreciate bentonite for protecting my skin from the harmful agents of pollution.

If you are looking for a gentle, skin purifying clay mask, I can recommend Hawaiian Seaweed Beauty Mask. It's a great way to deep clean your pores and add a bit of vintage glamour to your skin care routine.

Made from Earth: Organic Lip Balm

Hello ladies,

Made from Earth Organic Lip Balm has been in residence in my make up bag for the past couple months. This product is sweetened with a delectable vanilla flavoring. It is filled with natural emollients and skin healing vitamins A, D and E.
Organic Lip Balm has a firm consistency that softens and melts as it touches the lips. This product is far more emollient than the standard drugstore Chapstick. I found it's perfect as a light coating under lipstick and gloss. It moisturizes without causing color to feather or shift.

Since I have dry skin, I prefer a heavier balm as a nighttime, winter treatment. Organic Lip Balm offers the right consistency for daily use under makeup. I think those with normal to oily skin would find this balm offers optimal hydration throughout the day.

Made from Earth creates lip balm in the following flavors: blueberry, citrus, mocha, spearmint and vanilla. Each tube is sold individually. The mocha and vanilla are also available in a pairing called Ice Cream Flavors.

I appreciate the natural scent and taste of their vanilla flavoring. Made from Earth perfumes their products lightly. There is enough of an aroma to enhance the application, but not so much as to become distracting. I am tempted by their blueberry and mocha flavors.

Ingredients: Organic Sunflower Oil, Organic Beeswax, Organic Jojoba Oil, Organic Vanilla Flavor, Vitamin E, Rosemary Extract and Organic Calendula.

Sunflower oil is an optimal choice in caring for the delicate skin on the lips. Rich in vitamins A, D and E, sunflower oil contains fatty acids responsible for nourishing the skin. The potent antioxidants in sunflower oil can help lessen free radical damage and assist in preventing signs of premature aging.

Beeswax provides a natural protective barrier for the skin. It acts as a humectant by attracting moisture to the skin and sealing it against the elements. Particularly beneficial in winter, beeswax also offers antibacterial and anti-viral properties. It can be a useful healing agent in treating the cold weather problem of chapped lips.

A natural way to keep lips feeling soft, Organic Lip Balm is a daily treatment compatible with make up application. It's a great basic to add to your natural skin care regimen.
Vanilla Organic Lip Balm was sent to me for review. The retail price is $3.99 USD. You can shop the full line of skin care products at madefromearth.com.

Made from Earth: Green Tea Toxin Cleanser

Hello ladies,

My experience with Made from Earth Green Tea Toxin Cleanser has shown that natural ingredients can provide the same deep cleansing action as chemical surfactants. This product is dual purpose. It can be used as a daily cleanser or left on the skin longer as a pore refining mask. There is an array of skin healing components: aloe, green tea, milk, honey, lavender, and chamomile along with Vitamins A, B, C and E.
Green Tea Toxin Cleanser has a creamy consistency. I find that I only require a small amount to throughly cleanse my dry skin. The flip cap seems to dispense more than I would need. I shake the bottle to move product towards the top of the bottle neck. I dab a little on my finger tips and massage it evenly onto my face and neck.

I could see Green Toxin Cleanser benefitting a variety of skin types. Adjusting the amount applied changes the level of cleansing. A medium coating of product left on the skin for a few minutes will act as a deep cleaning facial mask. For dry or combination skin, you can apply the cleanser as a mask to the T-zone area and then dot a smaller amount on the cheeks right before rinsing. I love using this technique in the shower so I can multi-task.

This cleanser has a light and fresh scent that makes it pleasant to use. The natural fragrance doesn't linger in any way. While Green Tea Toxin Cleanser is technically unscented, the herbal and floral ingredients offer a gentle perfume.

Ingredients: Aloe barbadensis (Organic Aloe) Juice, Camellia sinensis (Organic Green Tea) Extract, Lactose (Milk), Lavendula (Organic Lavender) Distillate, Anthemis nobilis (Organic Roman Chamomile) Distillate, Rosa damascena (Rose) Distillate, Vitus vinifera (Grapeseed) Oil, Emulsifying Wax NF, Kosher Vegetable Glycerin, Hamamelis virginiana (Witch Hazel), Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Phenoxyethanol, Tetrasodium Edta, Xanthan Gum, Organic Honey, Ascorbyl Palmitate (Vitamin C Ester), d-Calcium Pantothenate (Pro-Vitamin B5), Retinol Palmitate (Vitamin A), Mannan, Salix nigra (Black Willowbark) Extract, Azadirachta indica (Neem) Oil, Rosmarinus officinalis (Rosemary) Oleoresin, Citric Acid.

As the primary ingredient, aloe is reputed for its skin healing benefits. Aloe has a similar pH balance to human skin, making it useful in healing acne, inflammation and sensitivities. It's vitamin, mineral and nutrient rich composition helps deliver more oxygen to the skin to assist with cell turnover. This action can help skin appear more youthful.

Since it contains milk and honey, Green Tea Toxin Cleanser is vegetarian, but not vegan. The idea of milk as a cleansing ingredient makes me think of Cleopatra and her famed milk baths. There is science behind the luxury. The lactic acid in milk is a natural exfoliant, assisting in brightening the complexion. Honey has antimicrobial properties. It is known to help treat acne. As a cleansing agent, it can help remove impurities from the skin while adding softness.

If you are looking for a natural product to provide deep cleansing with respect to skin sensitivity and pH balance, Made from Earth Green Tea Toxin cleanser is worth adding to your regimen. I definitely recommend it.

Green Tea Toxin Cleanser was sent to me for review. This product can be purchased at madefromearth.com. The retail price is 15.99 for an 8 oz. (36 ml) bottle. Green Tea Toxin Cleanser is currently on special along with many other skin care items throughout the site.

B'Liv by Cellnique: Off With Those Heads, Blackheads Sebum Gel

Hello ladies,

I have encountered the gold standard for treating blackheads: B'Liv by Cellnique, Off With Those Heads. After using this product for five weeks, 65% of my blackheads are gone and the rest are continually diminishing.

I have dealt with blackheads on my nose since puberty. I have tried drying gels, pore strips, facial masks and even suffered a metal comedone extractor. While I have noticed some improvement with other methods, nothing has worked as consistently as Off With Those Heads. I wish I could time travel with a satchel of bottles to alleviate all the disappointment and frustration I have experienced trying to keep my skin clear of blackheads.

Off With Those Heads is the first treatment gel that has removed blackheads without causing my dry and sensitive skin to redden and peel. I have no problem using this product under my daily sunscreen. The aloe vera in the formula provides a light degree of hydration. I seldom wear night cream atop the gel, but the product is still effective when I do. It also remains in place, without lifting or pulling, as I apply my concealer.

Experimenting with different amounts, I found a medium layer works better than a thin coating. I use about three quarters of a pea size to treat my entire nose. Applying an even layer, I coat the top and sides of my nose with the clear gel. Because Off With Those Heads contains menthol and peppermint oil, there is a mild tingling sensation. The feeling is reminiscent of tasting a breath mint.

Off With Those Heads is a gentle treatment that relies on consistency. I apply the product every morning and night as a routine. Because the results are cumulative, it's worth considering if you are willing to regard daily use as one would brushing their teeth. This isn't the type of product you use occasionally for expected results.

For the first two weeks, I was concerned because my blackheads looked slightly darker and more prominent. In the third week, I realized this was because Off With Those Heads was loosening the pore clogging debris and elevating it to the surface. The most dramatic results were visible on the top of my nose, which is now almost completely clear. The blackheads on the sides of my nose have been greatly reduced and my skin shows continued improvement.

Since friends discovered I was testing a blackhead treatment, they have been awaiting my report. Last week, one of my girlfriends actually shined a light on my nose to examine my pores. She has since put Off With Those Heads on her skin care wish list. Another friend described my results as "amazing". I will concur.

Off With Those Heads is part of a blackheads treatment range. Because my skin is so dry, the other components wouldn't be suitable for me. This product holds its own outside the B'Liv system. Off With Those Heads assists in blackhead removal. If you have success with a treatment mask or pore strips, I recommend continuing with what works for you. Off With Those Heads will soften and loosen pore clogging material, making whatever methods you use for extraction far more effective.

Ingredients: Purified Water (Aqua), Aloe Vera (Aloe barbadensis) Extract, Witch Hazel (Hamamelis virginiana) Extract, Carbomer, Propylene Glycol, Menthol, Tea Tree (Melaleuca alternifolia) Oil, Poly (Oxy-1, 2-Ethanediyl), A-(Donyl-Phenyl)-Omega-Hydroxy, Sodium Hydroxide, Peppermint (Mentha piperita) Oil, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Diazolidinyl Urea.

Tea Tree oil is a potent anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-viral and antiseptic. It is a common natural ingredient in acne related products.

Peppermint oil is a useful ingredient for treating acne conditions. It offers strong antiseptic properties while simultaneously reducing redness and calming skin irritation.

Adding Off With Those Heads to your daily skin care treatment will help rid your reflection of blackheads. If you are patient and can commit to a routine, this product will do the rest.

Off With Those Heads was sent to me for review. To explore the targeted lines of B'Liv by Cellnique products, please visit blivskin.com. Off With Those Heads is priced at $49.00 USD for a 1.o fl. oz. (30 mL) size and $63.00 USD for 1.5 oz. (45 mL).

There is a special giveaway running for Twitter followers of @ladyfingersblog! For a chance to win a 1.0 fl. oz. (30 mL) bottle of Off With Those Heads, stop by the contest post. Don't miss out. The giveaway closes January 1st.

Neutrogena Deep Moisture Body Cream

Hello ladies,

I have been enjoying Deep Moisture Body Cream by Neutrogena. This delicately scented moisturizer protects skin from winter dryness, while comforting the senses with a warm vanilla fragrance. I appreciate the quick to absorb formula enriched with shea, cocoa and mango butters. This jar is proof that there are amazing products to be discovered at the drugstore.
Deep Moisture Body Cream has a light texture that is a melding of a body butter and a gel. The consistency reminds me of creme brulee. The scent is equally appealing. There is a soft vanilla fragrance that makes think of custard. It has a gourmand perfume that is tempting.

I depend on cocoa, shea, and mango butters to keep my skin hydrated in winter. Deep Moisture Body Cream incorporates these skin healing butters into an easily absorbing formula. I use it daily after showering. Once the cream touches my skin, it begins to sink in. I am left with soft skin minutes after application, without any noticeable residue.

I am really impressed that I went through the chill December weather without a single dry patch or skin irritation. I typically am satisfied when a moisturizer heals dryness, but Deep Moisture Body Cream has prevented the effects of winter from showing on my skin.

Ingredients: Water, Glycerin, Distearyldimonium Chloride, Petrolatum, Isopropyl Palmitate, Cetyl Alcohol, Dimethicone, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Cocoa (Theobroma Cacao) Seed Butter, Mango (Mangifera Indica) Seed Butter, Benzyl Alcohol, BHT, Sodium Chloride, Yellow 5, Yellow 6, Fragrance (1149-127).

Cocoa butter has been used for centuries to moisturize the skin. Women have relied on cocoa butter as a preventative against stretch marks. Cocoa butter creates a protective barrier between skin and environmental agents. It helps to seal in moisture while shielding the skin.

Rich in fatty acids, shea butter is a useful emollient. It helps the skin maintain moisture levels and promotes elasticity. Due to its Vitamin A and E content, shea butter has antioxidant properties, which protect the skin from the free radical damage that causes premature aging. It can also be effective as a wrinkle treatment through increasing cell renewal.

Mango Butter is a natural moisturizer that soothes irritated skin. It is often employed in anti-aging skin care products to aid in the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles. Like shea, mango butter contains fatty acids that nourish the skin. Their composition is different. When combined, these butters offer a wealth of skin healing ingredients.

I certainly recommend Deep Moisture Body Cream. If, for you, winter has always meant confronting dry skin, this product will let you focus on more pleasant aspects like watching snowfall with a cup of hot cocoa.

Deep Moisture Body Cream was sent to me for review. This product can be purchased at neutrogena.com or check your local drugstore. The retail price is $8.99 USD for a 6.0 oz. (170g) jar.

Laura Mercier Flawless Skin Oil-Free Day Lotion SPF 15

Hello ladies,

I had the opportunity to try Flawless Skin, Oil-Free Day Lotion SPF 15 by Laura Mercier. This moisturizer offers sun protection along with a variety of skin healing ingredients: sea water, green tea, peptides, collagen, arginine, quince seed extract and vitamin E. Oil-Free Day Lotion works effectively as a sunscreen, moisturizer and skin treatment.
I am impressed by how well the oil free formula hydrates my dry skin. I apply this moisturizer over a serum each morning. Its emollient properties are as effective as richer day cremes. It absorbs almost instantly and keeps my skin smooth to the touch long into the evening.

Oil-Free Day Lotion works beautifully under make-up. I have no trouble using concealer and powder shortly after applying this moisturizer. The consistency of the lotion is light and it massages into the skin easily. It's quick absorption makes it a useful product to help streamline my morning routine.

I appreciate how healthy my skin appears after using Oil-Free Day Lotion. Fine lines are diminished and my skin texture looks more supple. This moisturizer also produces a cumulative effect. After using Oil-Free Day Lotion for a few weeks, I noticed my skin feels softer and has a more youthful glow and fullness.

The scent of this product is elegant. There is clean and light floral aroma that dissipates shortly after application. The fragrance is so lovely I wish I could wear it as perfume.

Ingredients: Aqua (Water), Maris Aqua (Sea Water), Glycerin, Polymethylsilsesquioxane, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Dimethicone, Butylene Glycol, Polyglyceryl-10, Isostearate, Squalene, Trehalose, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Powder, Oligopeptide-6, Hexapeptide-3, Tripetide-3, Glycerylamidoethyl Methacrylate Copolymer, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Yeast Betaglucan, Faex Extract (Yeast Extract), Arginine, Pyrus Cydonia Seed Extract, Glycosphingolipids, Tocopheryl Acetate, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Aluminum Hydroxide, Caprylic/Capric Trigylceride, Zinc Oxide, Dimethicone/Methicone Copolymer, Ethyl Oleate, Cera Alba (Beeswax), C13-14 Isoparaffin, Carbomer, Laureth-7, Polyacrylamide, Sodium Polyacrylate, Linalool, Benzophenone-3, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Disodium EDTA.

While Camellia Sinensis is most commonly associated with a tea cup, the antioxidant effects of green tea are also beneficial when applied topically. Green tea can help fight free radical damage caused by environmental factors such as pollution. Because it helps prevent breakdown in collagen, green tea positively contributes to skin firmness and elasticity.

Oil-Free Day Lotion contains peptides. These active molecules signal the skin to produce more collagen. While peptides are naturally present in the skin, applying them in a lotion can contribute to additional collagen formation. This will help the skin retain a youthful appearance.

Arginine is an amino acid that assists in maintaining healthy connective tissue. Present in the skin, it is known to help heal damaged tissue and promote collagen formation.

Pyrus Sydonia Seed Extract is also known as quince seed. Closely related to apples, quince is a potent anti-oxidant with anti-inflammatory properties.

Many notable, much discussed skin care ingredients are present in this modern style bottle. If you are looking for a quality, boutique moisturizer, Oil-Free Day Lotion would make a worthy splurge.

Laura Mercier Flawless Skin Oil-Free Day Lotion SPF 15 was given to me by a friend. This moisturizer can be purchased from lauramercier.com. A 1.7 fluid ounce bottle retails at $95.00 USD.

Happy painting, ladies!
