L'Oreal Eye Makeup Remover

Hello ladies,

I have been using L'Oreal Eye Makeup Remover for the past few weeks. An oil-free remover with a pretty floral scent and refreshing feel, it whisks away eye makeup with ease.
L'Oreal Eye Makeup Remover dissolves waterproof mascara, glitter eyeliner, pigments, mineral makeup and baked or pressed shadows expertly. Wearing makeup daily, I prefer smoky eye looks or fashion colors set over primer. I haven't experienced a variety of eye makeup this remover couldn't clear away. It even eliminates the staining residue from darker purples and bold greens.

The bottle isn't fitted with a reducer cap. I find the open neck style more convenient. I am able to saturate a cotton pad more completely for faster removal. Depending on the color intensity of my makeup, I may use one or two cotton rounds for thorough cleansing.

The scent of this product is lovely. Its delicate floral fragrance brings pleasure to the everyday task of makeup removal. With this cleaser in your medicine cabinet, you may never fall asleep with your makeup on again.

For those ladies who have blogs or post color swatches on forums, L'Oreal Eye Makeup Remover will take color off completely between testing a variety of shades. I tried swatching a soft white shimmer after a matte purple and there was no trace of the darker shadow left on my skin. I will be keeping a bottle of L'Oreal Eye Makeup remover on hand for swatching new eye shadow collections.

Ingredients: Water, Hexylene Glycol, Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate, Dipotassium Phosphate, Potassium Phosphate, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Allantoin, Magnesium Laureth-8 Sulfate, Magnesium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Oleth Sulfate, Magenesium Oleth Sulfate, Imidazolidnyl Urea, Methylparaben, Disodium EDTA, Sodium Benzoate, Fragrance, F.I.L.# B4853/1

The 100% oil-free formula is suitable for all skin types. I am impressed by how thoroughly this product removes eye makeup without over drying my sensitive skin.

If you are looking for a professional style cleansing product with an affordable price point, I recommend L'Oreal Eye Makeup Remover. This blue bottle will stay in continued residence in my medicine cabinet.

I purchased L'Oreal Eye Makeup Remover at my local CVS. A 4 fl. oz. (118mL) bottle retails for $6.99. You can find out more about L'Oreal products by visiting lorealparisusa.com

Happy painting, ladies!

Funky French and Decorative Scissors

Good Morning,

Believe it or not I wore Blue Monday's mani up to now. I did not add any nailart to my My dominate hand like I did my right hand.  Yes, I  went to work looking like this. Lol!  After seeing Erika's mani from Chloe's Nails she is so great with her tape method.  Well, she did a mani using decorative scissors.  After work yesterday I went to Michaels and bought a bucket of these decorative/craft scissors.  Yes, they had a bucket of 12 for $9.99.  The one I used (victorian) came as a single pair was not included in the bucket. The name of the design is on each one and each pair is a different color.  Really cute.

Please don't laugh the design is alittle distorted I definately need more practice.  Ha Ha :/

                                          Victorian
Loreal Ocean Breeze,  Victorian Scissors, Orly Matte Vinyl (Matte Couture Collection 2009)

See my funky french my ring, and pinky fingers were a little stubborn.

I was thinking about taking the scissors back to the store because I had a hard time cutting the tape.  If the tape was thicker it would cut so much better.  I finally got the hang of it though.  Added a shiny topcoat (Revlon Colorstay) because I didn't like the matte look on my tips.

Tip:  Through my research overtime these will get dull after repeated use, but they can be sharpened by cutting through tin foil.

So what do you think?  Will you try using these scissors for your mani designs?

Erika, thanks for another way for designing our mani's! Whoo Hoo

Blue Monday, Ocean Breeze with Nailart

Blue Monday by Annie Lee

Good Morning Nail Beautiquers,  I hope you had a lovely weekend.  Last night I was trying to decide on what to put on as far as polish.  I roamed around in one of my drawers and pulled out Loreal Ocean Breeze from the LE Passport to Paradise Summer Collection 2010.  It's a lovely deep sky blue.  I thought it was a creme.  It's a jelly!  I get so excited when I get a jelly.  It surely is one of my favorite finish.

3 coats were used

Trying to be alittle creative with some nailart.  These are the goodies I used:

Sunny Yellow,  Silver Glitter, White, Silver, Blue Moon

I hope you enjoyed my Blue Monday

Until next time please have a great nail polish day. (✿◠‿◠) Share/Bookmark

You're Invited

Saturday I was invited to a small gathering with the ladies only! We had lots of food, great talks and kicked back to watch lots of Tyler Perry movies.  Most definitely had a great time.  Look at that invitation love the colors so I decided  on what I was wearing and to do a matching mani.  I wish you can see it in real life.  My friends loved it.  They wondered how I matched the colors so well..(whispering...some don't know that I'm a nail polish fiend.)

The blouse I decided to wear

From Left: L.A. Colors Art Deco-white, FolkArt waterbase paint-skintone, Sparitual It's a breeze, Loreal Waters Edge, Revlon Chocolate Truffle, Sparitual Full of Life, Nail Art Stripper brush (purchased at Sally's)

A silver chain

Hello ladies,

Even the sun wanted to spend part of the day under a blanket today. I was picking up my keys to venture outside and take pictures as the clouds hid the light. This look will require a little imagination to perceive the holographic sparkle embedded in the red jelly polish and decorating the tips.

I was thinking about Valentine's Day and a sterling silver chain. I don't have much of a connection with February 14th, but I do love to do manicures leading up to the day. L'Oreal B. Daring from the Bijou Crystals line is an older polish I am showing as part of my untried and true series. I have so many lovely shades awaiting time on my nails. The Art Club striper in hologram adds the line of silver.

B. Daring is a blue red jelly polish with a multitude of fine holographic glitter. Three coats brought beautiful coverage. B. Daring has the juicy and sticky shine of a quality jelly formula. The sparkle has vitality in just about every light.

I found it fairly simple to create a line at the tips with the Art Club striper. This is an elegant look and an easy way to hide tip wear if you want to refresh a manicure. There is vampy version of tipped nails over at Black Nail Polish and Lip Gloss. There are so many ways to utilize this technique.

Happy painting, ladies.

Earthy sparkle

Hello ladies,

Today I have a color exhumed from my untried polishes: L'Oreal Bijou Crystals B. Gutsy. The Bijou line was appearing at Dollar Tree stores earlier in the year. The bottle you are viewing came from the haunts of ebay. Below you will see the tiny 6ml bottle of B. Gutsy as well as an agate point with lots of quartz crystallization. Both elements contain earth tones and sparkle.

This color is unusual. I have nothing comparable to B. Gutsy in my collection. In the bottle, the polish appears to be a cosmos of holographic sparkle. Once applied, the base color takes on a greater dominance. I was surprised at the dimensions of B. Gutsy. There is a chocolate brown base with sheen of silver and a concentration of holographic glitter. If all the components didn't blend so favorably, I would have renamed it B. Busy.

The application was comfortable. For people who enjoy holding the bottle during polishing, the design is perfect. Otherwise, it's necessary to be careful the narrow bottle doesn't tip. The consistency is thin, but pigmented. It isn't the best formula to conceal patches or wraps, but the sparkle should distract from any other issues. B. Gutsy is a color to wear on a sun filled day. Indoors, the holographic glitter looks sandy on the nail. This polish needs light to thrive.

I hope you like the look. As you can probably surmise as we become acquainted, I have a penchant for glitter as well as all things Konad. I have a product review coming this weekend and an exciting drug store find.

I'll leave you with my contest reminder: Enter to win NYC Glossies in Molten Metal. The contest is open to followers and e-mail subscribers.

Thanks ladies!
