Blue Monday, Ocean Breeze with Nailart

Blue Monday by Annie Lee

Good Morning Nail Beautiquers,  I hope you had a lovely weekend.  Last night I was trying to decide on what to put on as far as polish.  I roamed around in one of my drawers and pulled out Loreal Ocean Breeze from the LE Passport to Paradise Summer Collection 2010.  It's a lovely deep sky blue.  I thought it was a creme.  It's a jelly!  I get so excited when I get a jelly.  It surely is one of my favorite finish.

3 coats were used

Trying to be alittle creative with some nailart.  These are the goodies I used:

Sunny Yellow,  Silver Glitter, White, Silver, Blue Moon

I hope you enjoyed my Blue Monday

Until next time please have a great nail polish day. (✿◠‿◠) Share/Bookmark

Blue Monday, Cosmetic Arts...Sky High

Cosmetic Arts-Sky High

Blue Monday By Annie Lee

Good Blue Morning,  I hope you had a wonderful weekend! Mine went too fast. Lol!  I went to Ross about a week ago and found a couple of Cosmetic Arts brand polish.  CosmeticGroup makes them. They also make Color Club.  These polishes were inexpensive only $1.99.  The day I went the display was picked over so I missed out on 8 of them.  The website has a picture of the display-12 count and this one is from the Spring Collection.  No names on the bottles but from the website the name is Sky High.  It's an exact dupe to Color Clubs 'Take Me To Your Chateau'.  If you want to see my post on it click here. As I can remember TMTYC was a little streaky.  Cosmetic Arts-Sky High is a beautiful sky blue creme.  Smooth application and only needed 2 coats to cover well.

I love these square bottles there just like American Apparels bottles

My middle fingernail broke again :(  It must be this weather.  My nails are not in good shape. Ugh!

Blues are so hard to photography.  I couldn't get my skin tone coloring right.

Did some nailart

These are the paints I used to mimic my background

Did you pick up some of these at Ross?  Which ones did you get?

Until next time please have a great nail polish day. (✿◠‿◠) Share/Bookmark

Dot on Dots

You don't have to be an expert to do nailart.  All you need is some simple tools to help you.  Born Pretty Store have all your nailart supplies.  Painting dots is so much fun.   These 5x2 dotting pens comes in a set with various sizes so that way you can make your dots from small to large.

I used the green one the small end.  I know my dots look larger then the pen as the paint build up the dots get bigger so if you want really small ones just clean it as you go.

As you can see I placed 4 pink dots in the middle and placed several white dots around them. 'Simple'

OPI Ski Teal We Drop
Pink dots: LA Colors Art Deco nailart lacquer-baby pink
White dots: Folkart acrylic paint in white

If you haven't tried nailart the dotting pens are my recommendation to you. So, go on over to Born Pretty Store and get yourself a set.  Use my code RM10k31 and get 10% off your order.  Discount code expires March 31, 2011

(The dotting pens were sent to me for review)
