Moon, Bronze and Flowers

Good Morning,

After stopping at the post office to drop off a package I wasn't quite ready to go home so I stopped into a Walgreen's that I haven't been to for awhile.  I found SH Xtreme Wear Pumpkin Spice.  I then saw a new display of SH Insta-Dri's and picked up the last Bronze Ablaze. It's a bronze shimmer with a hint of green.   In the store it sorta looked like Chanel's Peridot but, as you can see on the nail it's not a dupe.

I for one love all colors but sometimes they might not be the right color for my skintone.  So,  what did I do...added other colors that compliment my skintone.

Next time you see a color or want it go ahead and pick it up and play with it.

The dots are a lovely teal creme by Ruby Kisses (no name on bottle)

I used konad stamp plate M82 with white special polish

The moon is a nude color by OPI Tickle My Francey it's my go to color. To get the moon I used reinforcements

Do you buy colors that doesn't compliment your skintone?

Until next time please have a great nail polish day. (✿◠‿◠) Share/Bookmark

Blue Monday, Teal and Purple

Blue Monday by Annie Lee

Good Morning, I hope you had a great weekend.  The weather here in Florida was great!  One of my Walgreen's had a Managers special on Sinful Colors for 50 cents.  I told one of my friends that's starting to love nail polish she bought every color they had. Lol!  I picked up a few colors that I didn't have and I'm featuring one of them today.

Savage  I don't know why they named it that.  It's a beautiful teal cream.  To my surprise it applied like a jelly but it dried to a matte finish.  Of course I applied topcoat  and now it looks like a cream finish.  Savage is very opaque no problems with the formula.  I noticed the brush is different then my other ones from this brand.  The brush is wider and I just love it.

My dress is the exact same color.  The inside lining is purple so I used Revlon's Top Speed 670 Violet to my middle finger and used my new Konad Plate M82 with Konad Special Polish White Pearl.

My camera would not capture this color well.  It's more teal then blue

Do you have a collection of SinfulColors?  Which ones are your favorite?

Blue Monday, OPI Ski Teal We Drop

OPI 'Ski Teal We Drop'

Blue Monday by Annie Lee

Good Morning,  I can't believe it's another year 2011! Time does fly, I guess we say that as we get older.  (sigh)  Oh well,  It's going to be a great Monday!  It's something about teal blues that  I love. They are calming and soothing to me like a Tropical Ocean. Today, I have on a dark teal OPI's Ski Teal We Drop from the Swiss Fall 2010 Collection.  Great formula!  The brush on this one seems to be extra wide therefore less strokes. Used 2 coats and no cleanup on this mani.

The color is accurate in this picture

I'm sure you have this gorgeous polish.  Do you love teals?

Until next time please have a great nail polish day. (✿◠‿◠) Share/Bookmark

You're Invited

Saturday I was invited to a small gathering with the ladies only! We had lots of food, great talks and kicked back to watch lots of Tyler Perry movies.  Most definitely had a great time.  Look at that invitation love the colors so I decided  on what I was wearing and to do a matching mani.  I wish you can see it in real life.  My friends loved it.  They wondered how I matched the colors so well..(whispering...some don't know that I'm a nail polish fiend.)

The blouse I decided to wear

From Left: L.A. Colors Art Deco-white, FolkArt waterbase paint-skintone, Sparitual It's a breeze, Loreal Waters Edge, Revlon Chocolate Truffle, Sparitual Full of Life, Nail Art Stripper brush (purchased at Sally's)

I hope you enjoyed my invite

Blue Monday, Milani Sparkling Blue

Blue Monday by Annie Lee

Milani "Welcome Back Color" Collection 2009

Before I put on 'Sparkling Blue' I thought it would be better to use a creme base so I wouldn't have to put on so many layers.  So, I choose to use SH  Insta-Dri 'Blue Blast' I am glad that I did .

I should have taken a picture of blue blast before I layered it with Sparkling Blue so you can see what it looks like alone.  I used one coat of blue blast and 2 coats of Sparkling Blue.

I am really impressed.
Yellow, pink, teal of glitter goodness!

Lots of bar, and square glitter

Until next time please have a great nail polish day. (✿◠‿◠)

CND The Look Night Factory

It's Feel Good Friday, Yay!!  It was a short work week but felt like a full week.  Friday is here!  Today, I have a beautiful deep creme teal Urban Oasis.  I picked this set up at edit : SalonCentric not Cosmoprof it was the only one sitting on the shelf.  I grabbed it. (Love the package) Can you believe it was opaque with one coat...very impressive.  I did use two coats but only applied one coat on my left hand.

Sorry about the two wonky nails.  I got a couple of breaks and tried to fix them. *-*
This picture is more color accurate
Layered with Teal Sparkle
                                One coat covered really well
Teal sparkle is so gorgeous!
Here are bottle comp pictures
Not really color accurate.  There are no dupes in this bunch. Muse is far more the lightest and the brightest teal. Taunting teal is the darkest.  HTH *-*

Until next time please have a great nail polish day.
